New trends in e-commerce

This thesis analyzes the current trends in e-commerce, taking into account the increasing use of mobile phones. Electronic commerce is a broad concept. The thesis analyzes trends in electronic commerce in B2C relationship. First, it defines the notion of electronic commerce, its history and development. Another section focuses on trends in e-commerce with a focus on increasing the expansion and use of mobile phones or smartphones. EBusiness also fall trends in electronic online payments and e-marketing. This addresses another part. In the practical part of the thesis on the basis of the investigation is a comprehensive design and implementation of the website.
Cashless society

This thesis is aimed at cashless payments which have recently gained worldwide significance. Cash is being gradually phased-out by card transactions and mobile payments via non-bank provider of payment services. A question arises of what would happen if cash would disappear in its entirety and we would find ourselves in a "cashless society". This topic which at first glance appears to be utopian is the subject of this thesis. The first part compares the market of cashless payments in the Czech Republic and in northern Europe (which is amongst the most developed), in particular with regard to the use of cards and mobile payments. The second part is concerned with the phenomenon of shadow economy and the influence of cashless payments on its volume. Concrete recommendations for the Czech economy are also the part of this chapter. The final part hits the essence of the issue and deals with concrete pros and cons of going cashless. The chapter is systematically divided into three parts - security, cost-benefit analysis and legal aspects.
Analysis of modern payment methods

This bachelor thesis is focused on the modern payment methods, which has nowadays became one of the most popular and used form of paying. The aim of this work is to formalise an analysis of modern payment methods and define its factor of successes. The bachelor thesis is being divided into several chapters. The first chapter is sourced from (available) written literature, highlighting the main definitions, focusing on the given topic in general but also briefly describes the historical points of view on it and the theoretical methods of critical success factors. The next chapter describes payment methods, which are being used nowadays, then focuses on the analysis of payment methods it self. Methods that are new, modern and innovative in different forms. Each method gives the basic information, function, security, typical situation and advantages and disadvantages of different forms of modern payment methods. Through this analysis we can determine the factors of success of payment methods and creates a discussion, which will result into a summary of factors that should improve and help with the development of the new payment methods. The last chapter contains selected forms of payment methods tested in real conditions.
Design and experimental verification of usability testing methodology for mobile contactless NFC payments

The purpose of this work is the design and experimental verification usability testing methodology of mobile contactless NFC payments. Given that this is the very innovative and flexible region (m-commerce and the usability of mobile devices) we need to develop a methodology to adapt the methods and usability testing standards for the specifics of mobile devices. The benefit of this work is to link the usability and m-commerce and the creation of a methodology for mobile devices usability testing. This work can be beneficial for companies that decides to enter the mobile payments market (as for instance a firm MOPET CZ rather unexpectedly made with the mobito project) and also for companies that are already dealing with m-commerce. This work can be also useful as a matrix for creating own testing methodology for mobile devices, even for other purposes.
Contactless payments and their development

This work deals with mobile remote payments by mobile operators, mobile banking and payments using contactless NFC technology. The aim of this study is to provide a comprehensive view of this issue, analyze various ways how to use mobile payments and NFC technology. Assess the current state of NFC payments in Czech Republic and compare this situation with selected EU countries. The work can be divided into three parts. The first part presents different types of mobile payments by mobile operators. The second part presents the mobile banking and the situation in individual banks. The third part discusses about contactless payments using NFC technology. Because this system have been already proved in some countries there will be in addition to development in the Czech Republic also outlined developments in selected EU countries. Subsequently, there will be described the test results of contactless payments in the EU and the test using contactless payments in our country. The reader of this work should gain a comprehensive understanding of the issue of mobile payments and NFC technology. Get perspective on the current situation of NFC payments in the Czech Republic and the development of these payments in some European countries. In addition to that the reader should learn information, which is necessary to assess whether or not he would use these payment methods.
Mobile phone payments in developed and developing countries

The bachelor thesis focuses on the topic of mobile phone payments within direct banking services. Theoretical part offers basic description of the currently-in-use direct banking products. This paper also characterises mobile phone payment systems in developing countries, their fundamental conditions, problems with their implementation and outlines M-PESA as an example of a successful system. The next section analyses mobile phone payment system in developed countries defining conditions and presumptions for mobile phone payments in order of becoming appropriate competitor to the cash payments. To summarize, at the end there is a comparison of the mobile phone payment systems in both, developed as well as developing countries emphasizing on the main differences.
Electronic mobile payment methods

This thesis is dealt with a topic of mobile payments. Even though the mobile payment method is relatively new, it offers a great opportunity to become a common payment instrument in the future. Mobile and contactless technologies are developing constantly and their application in current payments is becoming increasingly popular. However, only time will show if customers are really ready to accept these methods in general. The goal of this work is to introduce the term "mobile payment" to the reader. Furthermore, it explains methods of mobile payments which are available today and the direction of their development. In the first part, there is a definition of the term "mobile payments" and their characteristics are described. The second part defines the methods of mobile payments and the third part deals with mobile payment models in the world. The final part contains an evaluation of the attached questionnaire, which investigates with the awareness and usage of mobile payment in public. The reader of this work should get a comprehensive view on the topic of mobile payments. The work should also provide important clues about possible solutions for mobile payments, their strengths and weaknesses. In addition to that the reader should learn information, which is necessary to assess whether or not he would use these advanced payment methods.
Payment for goods and services via mobile communication

The aim of my work was to analyze actual possibilities of payment by mobile communications, focusing on the European Union and to detect on the basis of a survey how the current services are used and how they are perceived by users. Next, there is suggested own solution of using mobile phones for payments with the present conditions. The work includes a case study which focuses on mobile micro-payments and involves currently used solutions for these payments in the Slovak Republic. The work is divided into three parts. The first part contains a definition of the mobile payments, explains words which are related to the work and analysis of the current payment options with comparing payments via mobile phones. The second part analyzes the most used payment options via mobile phones and their use in different regions of the world. The third part consists of evaluate analyze, a concept of own solution for mobile payments, a case study of micro-payments and the questionnaire.
Payment for goods and services via mobile communication

The subject of my work is to analyze possible options that are nowadays available for mobile payment for goods and services. It should provide the reader with a view into the future, which depends, to some extent, on the behaviour of our society and the technical progress. The work is divided into four parts. In the first part the reader becomes acquainted with the terms and is being introduced to the problem. In the second part he finds out how the mobile payments are classified, possible solutions and what emphasis is put on the security. Next part tries to analyze a questionnaire that was created for this work. The evaluation should provide conclusions applicable for the introduction of new solutions for mobile payments in Czech Republic. The last part is dedicated to suggesting solutions for a particular case, therefore practical application of acquired knowledge. The aim of this work is to provide the reader with a compact view on the ways of payments using the mobile communication. He should gain from it an awareness of classifying these payments, terminology that accompanies it, problems associated with the establishment, security resolution and the world experiences.
Payments for goods and services via mobile phones

This thesis is focused on the issue of payment for goods or services by mobile phones. The area of mobile payments is a potential future payment system. To the extent to which the mobile payments in the future be used, however, depends not only on individual applications and technologies but also the readiness of potential users of these technologies and the willingness of users is fully used. The goal of this publication is to provide a comprehensive picture of this issue, analyze the possibility of using different technologies for mobile phone payments, to map the current situation in the segment of mobile payments and provide insight into the possible future development. The work can be divided into three parts. First, the theoretical part, defines mobile payments, says the reader into the introduction of mobile payments and describes the possibility of using these technologies. Second, the practical part, the analysis of the questionnaire. This questionnaire is primarily focused on the use of applications, mobile payments among users of mobile phones in the Czech Republic. When evaluating a questionnaire is given priority to conclude that could be used in the introduction of mobile payments. The third part is an example of mobile payments applications in other fields. Readers of this thesis would have to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the issue of mobile payments, technology and applications of mobile payments. Alternatively, to obtain information about how to use these payments in their business.
